At first I thought this was a bootleg recording from Lisa Loeb or something...
('twas so friggin "tight" on the intro and first verse...)
...but THEN it started "rockin' out" with the REAL!!!
WOW!

(Welcome to Dmusic Stacy!)

OK Stacy, maybe you should become famous for me... kinda hard verses, it's some fast singing... I am gonna download these and make me a cd... cool job!

I know this original, but you have stripped it down and made it your own. Like Jesse says, those verses would not be the easiest to sing - but you do a great job. You have an effortless way of achieving wonderful things with that voice of yours.

I love this song. I like the simple way you've brought the guitar and voice together here. Rather than take on the rapid-fire style Lisa does, you've instead centered on something stripped-down and honest, which works very well.
Even on the refrain, I think it might have benefited by slowing down the pace, in the same way you did with the verses.
I like your guitar work a lot here.
A fun cover of a great song.
